Fluidity & Flow                                              1999 to 2006

Flying over the mid-section of this country one becomes aware of ancient courses where the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers have carved their paths from near our northern borders to their exit point into the Gulf of Mexico.  Long abandoned river courses  stretching out from either side are but memories of the motion of other eras.   This type of meander is not restricted to the flow of water and is present in the rise of smoke, the exchange of electro-magnetic energy and in structures of the microscopic realm.

The ‘Flow’ paintings place the fluid motion of waveform  against a structure of a crystalline nature. My inquiries are analytical in a very personal and experiential way.
